EASY EGGS BENEDICT SAUCE

This is an old recipe I just came across.
1 can Campbell's cream on mushroom soup
3 eggs yolks
2 T lemon juice
Generous dash hot pepper sauce
1/2 C melted butter
In a blender combine soup, egg yolks, lemon juice, and hot pepper sauce. Cover and blend on high speed for a few seconds. With blender still on high speed, remove cover and very slowly pour in a steady stream of melted butter into the soup mixture. Blend for 3 minutes or until thick. Pour mixture into a sauce pan and heat stirring occasionally.
This is good when you take an English muffin topped with bacon and a poached egg. Pour warm sauce on top.
Weather here is cold and windy. I talked to Jackie and we are planning on joining Jackie and her family in Hilton Head on Friday. They always extend a generous invitation to both Dennis and I, when they have a place at the beach. It is only a 2 1/2 hour drive, so it is very close for all of us. Stay warm!
