STUCK ON CAKE TIP

I just got this tip from a magazine this morning. It sounds good.
For extra nonstick insurance, butter the baking dish, then chill it in the refrigerator while preparing the batter. This gives the butter time to resolidify, so when the mixture is poured in, the grease will stay adhered to the pan instead of melding with the batter. They say the once the cake is cooled, it slips right out.

We got 15 inches of snow the other day and with the wind blowing, drifts were up to 8 feet. All schools were closed and even the shopping malls. We can all handle the snow but those tornados are so powerful, no one can handle them. All those lifes lost. When I was young and still lived in Wisconsin, a tornado hit our house and the sound and damage was unbelievable. Our children were very small and scared, my husband Dennis shoved us all down into the basement. Now we like in the South with no basement. Sometimes I wonder where we would go now. Please be safe!
