Mouse Allergy Tip

I plan on trying this right away. I hate rodents in any form. I don't have a problem and hopefully never will. This book I am reading claims that mice hate oil of peppermint and will not frequent a property where they can smell it. They say a few drops on a piece of cotton and placed anywhere you feel you might have a problem, you will never see them again.
I have poison all over my attic under the insulation, just in case one thinks he is coming to live here. I also have those ultrasonic sound devices. I cannot swear it works, I do know I don't have any problems. In the 19 years I have lived here, I was only invaded by one. He forgot to pack his bags and leave with the previous owner. At that time I called in the big guns, a pest control company. Jake got ride of the 1 ounce mouse and he has been with us as our pest control man ever since. Down south you have to spray your house for roaches every 3 months. Better safe and clean than sorry, plus problem free.
Jackie hates snakes and I hate rodents. I don't think many people like these animals either. Have a safe day always!

Chris and I became friends over 20 years ago when we were neighbors in the Philippines. We were living there with our families because of our husbands' jobs with Westinghouse. In fact, we were next door neighbors on the compound that we lived in. After returning Stateside, we were lucky enough to have Westinghouse assign our husbands to the same work site. Our husbands are good friends, also. We enjoy each other and feel fortunate to be blessed with such good, loving friends in our lives.

We cannot take credit for the helpful hints, tips or recipes that we put in. These are an accumulation of ones that we have collected over the years and still collect. We won't mind if someone needs a hint or recipe that we haven't posted yet and they want us to try to find it for them. In fact, we would like the challenge!

Chris and I have always loved to collect cookbooks, recipes and hints. You would not believe the number of books and newspaper and magazine clippings that we have. Plus, Dennis, Chris's husband, loves to cook and has some to add to the mix. I know there are those of you out there that have the same sort of collection. I was getting ready to get rid of some unneeded things I have around here and get ready for my huge annual Thanksgiving event. I thought I would share this with "the world" and Chris feels the same way. (Her and I are so much alike, it's scarey sometimes. To our husbands, that is!) Plus both of us are Taurus! Chris might even have some decorating tips for you because she is great at that. That is something that just doesn't come to me and I turn to her.
